Stefanie L. Pate Appointed as Vice President of the Estate Planning Council of Pittsburgh

Leech Tishman is proud to announce that Trusts & Estates Partner Stefanie L. Pate has been appointed as Vice President of the Estate Planning Council of Pittsburgh (EPC-Pittsburgh) for the 2024 term. In 2022, Pate was appointed to the Board of Directors of the EPC-Pittsburgh, where she served a two-year term.

As Vice President, Pate will assist the EPC-Pittsburgh in upholding and enhancing professional and educational standards within the estate planning sector, facilitate cross-disciplinary collaboration among professionals, and promote public understanding of the services offered by experts who adhere to these standards.

Pate is a member in the firm’s Trusts & Estates Practice Group, as well as the Nonprofits & Tax-Exempt Organizations Group and is licensed to practice in Florida, Pennsylvania, and New York. Pate’s practice focuses on estate planning, business succession planning, and trust and estate administration.

About the Estate Planning Council of Pittsburgh

The Estate Planning Council of Pittsburgh was created in 1969 as an outgrowth of the Life Insurance and Trust Council founded in 1936 in Pittsburgh. It is a member-driven, Internal Revenue Code section 501C(6) tax-exempt organization with a mission to foster greater understanding of the roles and relationships of these professionals and to encourage closer cooperative efforts by which to serve clients in the field of estate planning.
